LONDON tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but DURHAM WEST would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1.

DURHAM WEST got their start on a first period goal by Becki Bowering who would go on to earn player of the game recognition by her Coaches. 

DURHAM WEST took a 3-0 lead during the third period, only to have LONDON storm back on a Kaylie Dennis (A) goal 19:42 into the third period to pull to two goals down. 

DURHAM WEST was sparked by Kennedy Marchment, who registered one goal. Marchment scored 1:36 into the third period to make the score 2-0 DURHAM WEST. Katrina Manoukarakis provided the assist.

DURHAM WEST's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four LONDON power plays. LONDON was unable to stop DURHAM WEST from sending pucks towards the net, and DURHAM WEST eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.
