A stellar performance between the pipes by Nicholle Kovach helped AURORA defeat ETOBICOKE, 2-1. AURORA was sparked by Reagan Fuller, who tallied one goal. Fuller scored 18:58 into the third period to make the score 2-1 AURORA. Brittany Kucera (C) picked up the assist. AURORA stifled ETOBICOKE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. AURORA also got a goal from Maresa Benacquista as well. ETOBICOKE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four AURORA power plays. ETOBICOKE forced AURORA goalie Kovach to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. ETOBICOKE was led by Tegan Duncan, who scored the team's only goal. Duncan scored 3:12 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Madison MacCulloch assisted on the tally. AURORA's Kovach stopped 31 shots out of the 32 that she faced. AURORA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Christi Honor made 26 saves for ETOBICOKE on 28 shots.
