Great Falls rolls over Glacier, 8-3Stumptown Ice Den Sun, Oct 20, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Great Falls Americans had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-3 win over Glacier. Glacier's power play was ineffective against Great Falls' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Glacier was unable to stop the Americans from sending pucks towards the net, and Great Falls eventually piled up 76 shots on goal. The Americans bested their season scoring average. This season, Great Falls averages 5.4 goals per contest. The Americans found themselves short handed often, totaling 42 penalty minutes and allowing nine power plays.
