Mississippi RiverKings outlasts Bloomington, 4-2

Mississippi RiverKings and the Bloomington Thunder were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Mississippi RiverKings made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Mississippi RiverKings gained the winning advantage on a goal by Leo Thomas 16:52 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Mississippi RiverKings was sparked by Thomas, who grabbed one goal and one assist.

Mississippi RiverKings stifled Bloomington's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Mississippi RiverKings also got points from Mike Grace, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Mississippi RiverKings also had goals scored by Devin Mantha and Patrick Schafer, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Mississippi RiverKings were Brett Valliquette, Burke Gallimore, Phil Bronner, and Andrew Randazzo, who each chipped in one.
