A stellar performance between the pipes by Max Strang helped the Bloomington Thunder defeat the Fayetteville FireAntz, 2-1. Bloomington was led by Kyle Watson, who registered one goal and one assist. Watson scored on the power play 19:57 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Bloomington. The Thunder had gotten the advantage when Fayetteville's Brett Liscomb was sent off for tripping.
