Behind one goal and three assists from Trevor Hughson and one goal and one assist from Cody Wright, the Mount Forest Patriots downed the Hanover Barons 7-4. Hughson scored on the power play 15:37 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Mount Forest. Mount Forest earned a power play opportunity when Garrett Weigel was put in the box for cross checking. Devin Williams picked up the assist. Wright scored short handed 8:03 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Mount Forest. The Patriots were on a disadvantage when Doug Costanzo went off the ice for slashing. Hughson provided the assist.Mount Forest's offense rang up 52 shots on Hanover's net. The Patriots' goal total was higher than their season average. Mount Forest averages 4.1 goals per game.
