Mount Forest falls to Kincardine in overtime, 1-0 (OT)

The Kincardine Bulldogs' Cody Britton scored 2:29 into overtime to beat the Mount Forest Patriots, 1-0 (OT).

Paul Boyadadin spearheaded the defensive effort for Kincardine, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 29 saves for the shutout. Boyadadin certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.5 entering the contest.

The Bulldogs stifled Mount Forest's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Kincardine could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Bulldogs put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Kincardine kept the Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and John Nixon made 36 saves on 37 shots.

More assists for Kincardine came via Brett Catto, who had one.

Mount Forest did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Patriots average 4.0 goals per game.

The Bulldogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Mount Forest incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
