Moore leads Kincardine over Mount Forest, 9-1Davidson Thu, Oct 24, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Shawn Moore had two goals and two assists to lead the Kincardine Bulldogs to a 9-1 victory over the Mount Forest Patriots. Moore found the back of the net 8:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Kincardine and again while 4:23 into the third to make the score 5-1 Kincardine.Mount Forest was stymied by Kincardine netminder Tyler MacGregor, who stopped 37 shots during the victory. MacGregor managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.97 prior to the game. The Bulldogs forced the Patriots' goalies to work in net, totaling 37 shots and forcing 28 saves. John Nixon made 20 stops and Cole Wardlaw made eight. Kincardine surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Bulldogs have scored at the pace of 4.4 goals per game during the current campaign. Kincardine additionally got points from Ethan Skinner(AP), who also finished with three goals and two assists to lead the team in points, Jamie Miller, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Brett Catto, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Tanner Simpson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
