The Lambton Shores Predators tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Fort Erie Meteors held on for a 4-3 victory. Fort Erie took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have Lambton Shores storm back on a Jay Ritchie goal 5:26 into the third period to pull to one goal down. In the losing effort, the Predators were sparked by John Warren, who registered one goal and two assists. Warren scored on the power play 3:38 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Fort Erie. Lambton Shores had taken the advantage when the Meteors' Richard DeMarco got sent off for holding. Ritchie assisted on the tally. Fort Erie was helped by Aaron Wanat, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Wanat scored short handed 1:28 into the third period to make the score Fort Erie. A high sticking call on Bryce Biller put the Meteors on the penalty kill. Carson Johnstone provided the assist. Fort Erie also got points from Nik Passero, who also had one goal and one assist and Johnstone, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Braden Kavaratzis also scored for Fort Erie. Other players who recorded assists for Fort Erie were Jared Marino, who had one and Sam Quaranta, who had two. The Predators could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Lambton Shores additionally got points from Ritchie, who also registered one goal and one assist. Lambton Shores also got a goal from Matt Ross as well. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Bryan Boersma and Steven Beenackers, who each chipped in one. Matt Baker rejected 20 shots on goal for Fort Erie.
