Derek Medeiros netted a hat trick to lead the Hagersville Hawks over the Dundas Blues, 6-3. Medeiros got on the scoresheet 9:32 into the first period. He then added goals at 39 seconds into the second and at 11:58 into the third.Hagersville stifled Dundas' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Hawks' offense rang up 44 shots on the Blues' net. Hagersville could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Hagersville additionally got points from Mitch Green, who also registered one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Hagersville included Chris Martin and Derek Low, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Hagersville were Aleck Boyd, who had two and Nick Sherwood, Kyle Phibbs, Derek Friesen, and Austin Dezeeuw, who each chipped in one. Dundas struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 28 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays.
