The Exeter Hawks allowed the Port Stanley Sailors to net three goals during the second period and fell, 5-0.

Port Stanley was boosted by Aiden Brown, who turned in a shutout with 26 saves. The solid play of Brown will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.51.

Tyler Beaulieu had two goals and one assist to lead the Sailors. Beaulieu scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 19:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Stanley. Port Stanley earned a power play opportunity when Nick Laporte was put in the box for tripping. Andrew Fenn assisted on the tally. Beaulieu's next tally on the power play made the score 5-0 Port Stanley with 12:56 left in the third period. Mark Brisson provided the assist.

Port Stanley also got a goal from Connor Tamborro as well. In addition, Port Stanley received assists from Anders Adzija, Findley Brandon, and Josh DenOtter, who contributed one a piece.

Port Stanley incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Hawks' Joe Metzger stopped 42 shots out of the 47 that he faced. Exeter incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
