Thamesford completes comeback, beats Mt.Brydges, 4-3

The Thamesford Trojans rallied from three goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs.

Thamesford never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Trojans was down 3-0 after a goal by Mt.Brydges' Sean Candler at 6:43 in the second period. Thamesford knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Brad Chambers at 19:26 in the third period. The Trojans scored the game winner at 19:54 in the third period on a goal by Chambers.

Fabio Galante had a great game for Thamesford, netting two goals.

The Trojans' offense rang up 50 shots on the Bulldogs' net.

Thamesford also got a goal from Dylan Black as well. Other players who recorded assists for Thamesford were Marcus Gverzdys and Kyle Walker, who contributed one a piece and James Toye, Adam Levine, and Andrew McLennan, who each chipped in two.

Mt.Brydges forced Thamesford goalie Alex Hutcheson to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

The Bulldogs were helped by Mike Broder, who had one goal. Broder scored 8:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Mt.Brydges. Mt.Brydges also got points from Candler, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Spencer Wilson also scored for Mt.Brydges.

Alex Hutcheson made 38 saves for the Trojans on 41 shots. Thamesford incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Dane Gubbels recorded 46 saves for Mt.Brydges. The Bulldogs incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
