Tanner Turley netted a hat trick to lead the Port Stanley Sailors over the North Middlesex Stars, 8-2. Turley notched his first tally 18 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 8:39 into the first and at 19:04 into the second.Port Stanley made Stars' goalies to work all game long, launching 39 shots and forcing 31 saves. Brad Apps (APM) made nine stops and Dane Gubbels made 22. The Sailors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four North Middlesex power plays. Port Stanley's goal total was higher than its season average. The Sailors average 4.6 goals per game. Port Stanley also had goals scored by Luke McGuire, who had three and Tyson Corkum and Connor Tamborro, who each put in one. More assists for Port Stanley came via Will Kilgour, who had three, Dalton Good, Keaton McIntyre, Nicholas Phillips, Andrew Fenn, and Findley Brandon, who each chipped in one, and Anders Adzija and Tyler Beaulieu, who contributed two a piece. North Middlesex was led by Spencer Kading, who grabbed one goal. Kading scored 10:40 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Port Stanley. Mike Sharpe assisted on the tally. Brady Smith (APM) also scored for North Middlesex. In addition, North Middlesex received assists from Kyle Evans, Mack O Keefe, and Taylor Moir, who each chipped in one. Port Stanley's Ricky Corkum stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that he faced. The Sailors totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-4 on the power play. Team's Corkum and David Vergeer were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. The Stars incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For North Middlesex, Dylan McConnell and Tom Bedour were ejected from the contest.
