The Aylmer Spitfires almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Lambeth Lancers managed to pull out a 6-4 win in the end. Lambeth led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Lancers' Nick North's scored at 2:23 in the third period to put Lambeth up 5-2. The Lancers got the win on the strength of a great game by Kale Corbeth, who had one goal and three assists. Corbeth scored on the power play 31 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lambeth. Justin Clark picked up the assist. Aylmer was unable to stop Lambeth from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lancers eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Lambeth's defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game. The Lancers are averaging 1.7 goal against for the season. Lambeth got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Lambeth also got points from Austin Blais, who also had one goal and one assist, Tanner Smith, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Clark, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
