Zach Beaumont was all over the ice for the Lucan Irish, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Lucan's 7-4 win over the Dorchester Dolphins. Beaumont's tallies came at 4:12 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Lucan and 16:08 into the third to make the score 6-4 Lucan.Dorchester's seven penalties came back to haunt it, as the Dolphins let up four goals while on the penalty kill. The Irish surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Lucan averages 4.8 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Lucan additionally got points from Keiron Cobban, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Mitch Smith, who also grabbed two goals and two assists. Nik Petrie also scored for Lucan. Other players who recorded assists for Lucan were Nathan Marcil, who had five and Mike Worby and Andrew Reichert, who contributed one a piece. For Dorchester, Shayne Rhyno was ejected from the game.
