Connor Hughes was superb between the pipes for the Dorchester Dolphins, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Exeter Hawks. Exeter's power play was ineffective against Dorchester's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Dolphins were led by Tyler Kerr, who finished with one goal and one assist. Kerr scored 10:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dorchester. Cale Duberry provided the assist. Dorchester excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.
