The Delhi Travellers tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Woodstock Navy Vets would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4. Woodstock made the score 5-2 on a goal by Taylor DeClercq at 3:15 in the third period, and Delhi got as close as 5-4 when Taylor Hockley scored 6:32 into the third period. The Navy Vets' penalty kill excelled, as Woodstock gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. The the Navy Vets penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 39 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 19.0 minutes per game Woodstock had been spending in the box. The Travellers were unable to stop the Navy Vets from sending pucks towards the net, and Woodstock eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. The Navy Vets' goal total was higher than their season average. Woodstock has scored at the pace of 2.4 goals per game during the current campaign. Woodstock also got points from Mike Gillespie, who also had one goal and one assist and Justin Elms, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Woodstock also had goals scored by Brandon Velda and Mackenzie Scott, who each put in one.
