The Delhi Travellers relied on the scoring touch of Mike DeCoene, who netted two goals, to beat the Woodstock Navy Vets, 2-0. DeCoene's tallies came at 11:10 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Delhi and 19:30 into the third to make the score 2-0 Delhi.Delhi was boosted by Nick Heath, who turned in a shutout with 31 saves. Heath managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.78 prior to the game. The Travellers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. More assists for Delhi came via Colin VanDale and Kelsey Vanyermen, who each chipped in one. Woodstock stifled Delhi's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Navy Vets could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Woodstock averages 2.2 goals per game. The Navy Vets' offense rang up 31 shots on the Travellers' net.
