A hat trick by Riley Clipper was the highlight in Centennials' 7-2 win against the Woodstock Navy Vets. Clipper got on the scoresheet 10:32 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:51 into the first and at 19:14 into the first.Woodstock's power play was ineffective against the Ayr Centennials' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Ayr kept the Navy Vets' goalie busy throughout the game, and Michael Roefs made 46 saves on 53 shots. The Centennials found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Ayr averages 4.3 goals per game. The Centennials could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.
