Dylan Yantzi had one point to lead the Tavistock Braves to a 2-0 victory over the Woodstock Navy Vets.

Tavistock put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Woodstock to score on any of its four power plays.

Tavistock also got a goal from Mackenzie Kalbfleisch as well. More assists for Tavistock came via Trevor Bloch, Jeremy Munro, Sean Leslie, and Ryan MacDonnel, who each chipped in one.

The Navy Vets were held below their usual level of production. Woodstock averages 2.8 goals per game.

The Braves' Bloch stopped 22 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Tavistock incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Braves ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Munro was ejected from the game. Michael Roefs rejected 19 shots on goal for the Navy Vets. Woodstock incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
