Curtis Simonson finished with one point to lead the Coulee Region Chill to a 2-1 victory over the MN Magicians Magicians.

Coulee Region stifled MN Magicians' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Chill relied on a core group of players for most of their offense, as Mac Jansen, Ondrej Zehnal and Gordon Wells took 18 of the team's 34 shots.

Other players who recorded assists for Coulee Region were Adam Lovick, Blake Kelley, and Cam Bleck, who each chipped in one.

The Magicians excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances.

MN Magicians was led by Tony Uglem, who scored the team's only goal. Uglem scored 15:40 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Cody Milligan picked up the assist.

Blake Cates recorded 23 saves for Coulee Region. The Chill incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Atte Tolvanen rejected 32 shots on goal for the Magicians. MN Magicians incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
