Yoshihiro Kuroiwa had a standout game with 30 saves, and the Odessa Jackalopes beat the Corpus Christi IceRays 4-1.

Odessa was led by Lukas Laub, who registered one goal. Laub scored 15:33 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Odessa. Leo Lumm provided the assist.

The Jackalopes racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 17.0 minutes per game Odessa had been spending in the box. The Jackalopes' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Corpus Christi power plays. The 24 shots that Odessa put on net surpassed the Jackalopes' average of 19.5 shots per game this season.

Odessa also got a goal from Austin Fletcher as well. More assists for Odessa came via Dylan Adler, Tate Sykes, Robb Stautz, Derek Brown, Mathieu Briand, and Chad Guderian, who contributed one a piece.

Corpus Christi stifled Odessa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The IceRays' offense rang up 31 shots on the Jackalopes' net.

Corpus Christi was led by Wes Michaud, who scored the team's only goal. Michaud scored 7:11 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Grant Hutton picked up the assist.

Odessa registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. Forbes Ploszaj rejected 20 shots on goal for the IceRays. Corpus Christi ended with 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major.
