Nicholas Lehr stood on his head and made 40 saves to lead the Austin Bruins to a 4-1 victory over the Aberdeen Wings.

The Bruins' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Austin put 45 shots on net during the contest, more than the 31.7 it averages per game.

The Wings' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Aberdeen is averaging 1.8 goal against for the season. The Bruins were unable to stop the Wings from sending pucks towards the net, and Aberdeen eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

The Wings were led by Drew Doyon, who scored the team's only goal. Doyon scored 4:10 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Lennart Palausch provided the assist.
