Coulee Region downs Fairbanks, 2-1

Mac Jansen tallied one point to lead the Coulee Region Chill to a 2-1 victory over the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.

Griff Jeszka also scored for Coulee Region. Other players who recorded assists for Coulee Region were Sean Kalbak, Jesse Tredinnick, Adam Lovick, and Brogran Rafferty, who each chipped in one.

Fairbanks averages 32.2 shots on goal per game, but only sent 25 pucks on net against Coulee Region. The Ice Dogs could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Fairbanks puts an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

The Ice Dogs were led by Lonnie Clary, who scored the team's only goal. Clary scored 11:41 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Fairbanks. Brett Gervais provided the assist.

Adam Carlson recorded 24 saves for the Chill. Coulee Region incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Patrick Munson made 18 saves for Fairbanks on 20 shots. The Ice Dogs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
