The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and the Lone Star Brahmas were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Rio Grande Valley made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. The Killer Bees gained the winning advantage on a goal by Evan Schmidbauer 11:18 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer.
