The Johnstown Tomahawks relied on the scoring touch of Jordan Watt, who netted two goals, to beat the Soo Eagles, 2-0.

Watt's tallies came on the power play at 5:15 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Johnstown and 17:51 into the third to make the score 2-0 Johnstown.

Johnstown was boosted by Alex Okicki, who turned in a shutout with 28 saves. The solid play of Okicki will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.3.

The Tomahawks stifled Soo's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
