Michigan's Larkin deadly on offense in 3-0 win against Minot

The Michigan Warriors relied on the scoring touch of Colin Larkin, who netted two goals, to beat the Minot Minotauros, 3-0.

Larkin scored at 6:46 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Michigan and again while 4:20 into the third to make the score 3-0 Michigan.

Michigan put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Minot to score on any of its four power plays. The Warriors featured an improved defense during the game. Michigan allows 2.5 goals per game. By firing 28 shots on goal, the Warriors exceeded the 22.8 shots they average per game this year.

Scott Cuthrell also scored for Michigan. More assists for Michigan came via Mitchell Wedding, TJ Stuntz, Cody Kuster, Alec Pellegrino, and AJ Marcinek, who each chipped in one.

The Minotauros were led by Jadin Martin, who took five shots.

Dillion Kelley rejected 20 shots on goal for Michigan. The Warriors incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Brandon Wildung recorded 25 saves for Minot. The Minotauros incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
