Kenai River rides Quinn to victory over Amarillo, 4-1

The Kenai River Brown Bears relied on the sparkling performance of Zach Quinn in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Amarillo Bulls.

Kenai River was sparked by Sebastian Fuchs, who finished with one goal. Fuchs scored on the power play 6:52 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Kenai River. The Brown Bears had gotten the advantage when Amarillo's Mitchell McPherson was sent off for too many men. Alec Butcher picked up the assist.

Kenai River additionally got points from Jacob Davidson, who also registered one goal and one assist and Sam Bratten, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Zack Zulkanycz also scored for Kenai River. In addition, Kenai River received assists from Conor Deal, who had two and Gustav Berglund, Jake Bushey, and Matt Rudin, who contributed one a piece.

The Bulls were led by Tyler Gernhofer, who scored the team's only goal. Gernhofer scored on the power play 1:38 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Roman Ammirato provided the assist.

Quinn recorded 28 saves for Kenai River. The Brown Bears incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Collin Delia rejected 26 shots on goal for Amarillo. The Bulls incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
