MN Magicians erases deficit to stun Michigan, 3-2

The Michigan Warriors could not hold down the MN Magicians Magicians, and Magicians erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 3-2 win.

MN Magicians was paced by Derick Kuchera, who registered one goal. Kuchera scored on the power play 19:34 into the third period to make the score 3-3. The Magicians had gotten the advantage when Michigan's Colin Horton was sent off for hooking. Sam Wolfe provided the assist.

MN Magicians additionally got points from Nicholas Kuchera, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Colin Hernon, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.

The Warriors were led by Cody Lichtenvoort, who tallied one goal. Lichtenvoort scored on the power play 17:13 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Michigan. A holding penalty on Joe Kleven had put Michigan on the power play. Jake Hopfner picked up the assist. TJ Stuntz also scored for Michigan. In addition, Michigan received assists from Jake Faiella and Luke Dmytro, who contributed one a piece.

Bryan Nies made 17 saves for MN Magicians on 19 shots. The Magicians totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play. Dillion Kelley rejected 19 shots on goal for the Warriors. Michigan totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
