The Austin Bruins' Drew Anderson scored 1:03 into overtime to beat the Port Huron Fighting Falcons, 3-2 (OT). Austin overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Bruins fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Port Huron's Bobby Brown at 3:20 in the first period. Austin tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Jay Dickman at 19:21 in the second period. The Bruins were led by Anderson, who registered one goal. Austin launched only 37 shots during the game, fewer than the team's 48.0-shot per game average. The Bruins excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Austin additionally got points from Dickman, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
