Detroit Falcons 18U allowed Texas Tornado 18U to net three goals during the second period and fell, 6-2.

Texas Tornado 18U got the win behind a great game by Brennen Miller, who had two goals and one assist. Miller scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 14:28 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Texas Tornado 18U earned a power play opportunity when Steven Fowler was put in the box for head contact. Nate Sepeda picked up the assist. Detroit Falcons 18U struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
