The game between Pikes Peak Miners 16U and Pursuit of Excellence 16U was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Pikes Peak Miners 16U emerged with a 3-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Jaren Yatsu's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.
