Van Barr registered one point to lead Omaha AAA 16U to a 3-0 victory over Pursuit of Excellence 16U.

Omaha AAA 16U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Pursuit of Excellence 16U was unable to stop Omaha AAA 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA 16U eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Omaha AAA 16U also got points from Tarek Baker, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Omaha AAA 16U also got a goal from Jarod Mickelson as well. In addition, Omaha AAA 16U received assists from David Brumm, who had one.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U excelled on the penalty kill, only allowing Omaha AAA 16U to get one power play goal on 11 chances. Pursuit of Excellence 16U did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 10 shots on net to force 10 saves.

Cole Weaver recorded 10 saves for Omaha AAA 16U. Omaha AAA 16U incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Pursuit of Excellence 16U's Griffen Outhouse stopped 41 shots out of the 44 that he faced. Pursuit of Excellence 16U incurred 36 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
