The Battle Creek Revolution could not stop the Wisconsin Whalers' Dan Addie, who tallied a hat trick in a 12-1 win.

Addie got on the scoresheet 10:58 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:49 into the first and at 17:30 into the third.

Battle Creek trailed by one after the first period, but Wisconsin went into the second intermission with a 6-1 lead and never looked back.

The Revolution fell victim to a deadly the Whalers power play, which ripped Battle Creek for five goals.

Wisconsin stifled the Revolution's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Whalers kept Battle Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Babinski made 62 saves on 74 shots. Wisconsin found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Whalers average 4.3 goals per game. Wisconsin's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.

Wisconsin also got points from D.J. Mussey, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Nauris Buskevics, who also registered one goal and one assist, Ryan Martin, who also had one goal and two assists, Tim Tarvis, who also racked up two goals and one assist, and Connor Hyde, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Wisconsin included Jon Skarlis, Max Whitney, and Kaleb Morley, who scored one goal each. In addition, Wisconsin received assists from Chad Frost, who had three, Zack Johnson, who had four, Mitch Riese, Clayton Janecke, and Jason Hoehn, who contributed one a piece, and Kevin Stone, Connor Morgan, and Adam Alcott, who each chipped in two.

The Revolution struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 40 penalty minutes for 10 opposing power plays.

Battle Creek was led by Alex Olsen, who scored the team's only goal. Olsen scored 16:21 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Wisconsin. Brandon Benaglio provided the assist.

The Whalers' Tyler Lewis stopped 23 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Wisconsin incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Revolution registered zero goals on six power play opportunities.
