Chicago downs Pittsburgh in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Chicago Junior Bulldogs' Tyler Dalton scored 1:28 into overtime to beat the Pittsburgh Vengeance, 4-3 (OT).

Chicago overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Junior Bulldogs fell behind 3-1 after a power play goal by Pittsburgh's Tyler Speis at 18:23 in the second period. Chicago tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Dalton at 3:51 in the third period.

Dalton was all over the ice for the Junior Bulldogs, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win.

Chicago additionally got points from Matt Kostopoulos, who also registered one goal and two assists. Chicago also got a goal from Daniel Marotz as well. More assists for Chicago came via Jarret Walt and Henry Hearon, who contributed one a piece.

The Vengeance managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Pittsburgh wound up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game.

Nicholas Santiago also scored for Pittsburgh. In addition, Pittsburgh received assists from Thomas Leistner, who had two and Cody Black, Tom Diffendal, and Gavin Cummings, who each chipped in one.
