Jude Hull had a standout game with 34 saves, and the Topeka Capitals beat :Cincinnati 3-1.

Topeka was led by Hardijis Kupaks, who finished with one goal. Kupaks scored 2:27 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Topeka. Georgy Ostapchuk provided the assist.

The Capitals stifled :Cincinnati's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Topeka kept :Cincinnati's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alec Rounds made 34 saves on 37 shots.

Topeka also got points from Kole Hudson, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Topeka also got a goal from Griffin Leach as well. More assists for Topeka came via Yu Kikosaka and Nick Rizzo, who each chipped in one.

The Capitals were unable to stop :Cincinnati from sending pucks towards the net, and :Cincinnati eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Topeka totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. The Capitals ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Niko Greco was ejected from the game. :Cincinnati incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
