Metro completes comeback, beats St. Louis, 4-3

The Metro Jets rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Jr. Blues.

Metro never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Jets fell behind 2-0 after a goal by St. Louis' Zane OBryan at 3:10 in the second period. Metro tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Zach Mac Kay at 18:23 in the second period. The Jets scored the game winner at 16:16 in the third period on a goal by Mac Kay.

Metro was paced by Kevin Shand, who finished with one goal and one assist.

Metro additionally got points from Mac Kay, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Metro also got a goal from Cooper McLean as well. More assists for Metro came via Brad Hepler, who had two and James Roznowski and Zach Kopinski, who contributed one a piece.

The Jr. Blues' offense rang up 35 shots on the Jets' net.

St. Louis was helped by Christian Argyros, who racked up one goal. Argyros scored 17:22 into the second period to make the score 3-2 St. Louis. Mike Lozano picked up the assist. St. Louis also got points from OBryan, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Andrew McGlynn also scored for St. Louis. In addition, St. Louis received assists from Kyle Meeh, Tommy Heinzman, and Jacob Debus, who each chipped in one.

Kameron Limburg rejected 32 shots on goal for Metro. The Jets incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Jr. Blues' Clint Steinmeyer stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced. St. Louis incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
