Alexandria blows out Granite City, 6-3Armadillo Deck Arena East Sat, Oct 26, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Alexandria Blizzard had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over the Granite City Lumberjacks. Joe Anderson was all over the ice for Alexandria, as he grabbed four goals in the win. Anderson got on the scoresheet 15:19 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:56 into the second, at 18:40 into the third, and at 18:52 into the third. The Blizzard's penalty kill excelled, as Alexandria gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.
