Boulder Bison wins tough contest against Colorado Eagles, 4-3

The game between Boulder Bison and Colorado Eagles was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Boulder Bison emerged with a 4-3 win.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Daniel Orsborn at 17:30 of the third period.

Kevin Behrens had a great game for Boulder Bison, netting two goals. Behrens scored at 46 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 16:28 into the third to make the score 3-3.

Boulder Bison also got points from Orsborn, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Boulder Bison also got a goal from Mark Kepple as well. More assists for Boulder Bison came via Greg Sodbinow, who had three and Charles Joly, Casey Riccatone, and Chad Lopez, who contributed one a piece.

Colorado Eagles was helped by Jackson Wallis, who racked up one goal. Wallis scored 7:38 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Colorado Eagles. Keegan Jenkins provided the assist. Colorado Eagles additionally got points from Lance Pennington, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Tanner Ulland also scored for Colorado Eagles. In addition, Colorado Eagles received assists from Tyrel Charlton and Nick Davidson, who each chipped in one.

Boulder Bison's Sean Cuscaden stopped 26 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Boulder Bison incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Quinn Wold made 24 saves for Colorado Eagles on 28 shots. Colorado Eagles incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
