Long Beach Bombers downs Dallas Snipers, 6-3

Long Beach Bombers won 6-3 over Dallas Snipers.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 8:56 into the second period. Eight fighting penalties were dished out along with six game misconducts.

Long Beach Bombers forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up seven minors and two majors for 54 minutes in penalty time. Long Beach Bombers had been averaging 19.0 minutes in penalties per game. Long Beach Bombers made Dallas Snipers' netminders to work all game long, totaling 42 shots and forcing 36 saves. Aleksandrs Bebriss-Fedotovs made 15 stops and Emil Eriksson made 21.

Long Beach Bombers was helped by Filip Andreason, who racked up one goal. Andreason scored 14:26 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Johan Beatty provided the assist. Long Beach Bombers additionally got points from Marcus Viitanen, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Konstantin Kotkov, who also had one goal and one assist, Blake Sundy, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Filip Martinec, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Chance Rapp also scored for Long Beach Bombers. More assists for Long Beach Bombers came via Alexander Fibig, who had two and Guy Laporte, Mason Siebe, Tomas Nemeth, Talon Miller, and Marcus Rhodin, who each chipped in one.

Dallas Snipers racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 10 minors and six majors for 120 minutes in penalty time. Dallas Snipers surpassed its season average of 29.0 penalty minutes per game.

Dallas Snipers was led by Shane Bonds, who tallied two goals. Bonds scored the first of his two goals at 17:40 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Long Beach Bombers. Bonds' next tally made the score 6-3 Long Beach Bombers with 4:40 left in the third period. A high sticking penalty on Giovanni Grasso had put Dallas Snipers on the power play. Emil Melin picked up the assist. Dallas Snipers also got a goal from Blake Blundred as well. In addition, Dallas Snipers received assists from Jean Cobo and Alexander Lehnbom, who contributed one a piece.

Long Beach Bombers' starting goalie, Talon Miller, made five saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Lucas Paulsen, who stopped 16 shots. Long Beach Bombers registered two goals on six power play opportunities. Team's Paulsen and Chris Sudnicki were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Dallas Snipers registered one goal on two power play opportunities. For Dallas Snipers, Justin Becton, Cobo, Eriksson, and Zach Lawson were ejected from the contest.
