Perth Thunder survives Adelaide Adrenaline comeback, wins 4-3

Adelaide Adrenaline tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Perth Thunder held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by Dan Mohle put Perth Thunder up 4-2 in the third period, but Adelaide Adrenaline pulled to within one on Sean Greer's tally 13:46 into the third period.

Perth Thunder was sparked by Mohle, who racked up one goal and one assist. Mohle scored 11:37 into the third period to make the score Perth Thunder. Brian Berger provided the assist.

Perth Thunder excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Perth Thunder's offense was clicking better than usual and put 35 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.0 shots per game it averages.

Perth Thunder additionally got points from Berger, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Perth Thunder also got a goal from Brad Young as well. In addition, Perth Thunder received assists from Ken Rolph, who had two and Sam Wilson, David Ruck, Sean Hamilton, and Jordan Kyros, who each chipped in one.

Perth Thunder incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Peter King recorded 31 saves for Adelaide Adrenaline. Adelaide Adrenaline incurred 104 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Team's Kevin Phillips and Joshua Harding were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
