Berger nets hat trick, leads Perth Thunder to 6-4 win over Adelaide Adrenaline

Brian Berger netted a hat trick to lead Perth Thunder over Adelaide Adrenaline, 6-4.

Berger's first goal came 20 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 6:10 into the first and at 12:39 into the third.

Perth Thunder led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Perth Thunder's Andrew Cox's scored at 13:16 in the first period to put Perth Thunder up 4-0.

Perth Thunder put 29 shots on net during the contest, more than the 3.0 it averages per game.

Perth Thunder also got points from Jordan Kyros, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Perth Thunder also got a goal from Jonathan Bremner as well. More assists for Perth Thunder came via Dan Mohle, who had two and Sam Wilson, David Ruck, Riccardo Del Basso, and Kevin Darcy, who each chipped in one.

The 37 shots that Adelaide Adrenaline put on net surpassed Adelaide Adrenaline's average of 3.4 shots per game this season.

Adelaide Adrenaline additionally got points from Phillips, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Wehebe Darge also scored for Adelaide Adrenaline. In addition, Adelaide Adrenaline received assists from David Manning, Sean Greer, Greg Oddy, and David Huxley, who contributed one a piece.
