Sydney Ice Dogs blows out Sydney Bears, 3-0

Sydney Ice Dogs had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 3-0 win over Sydney Bears.

Simon Barg was all over the ice for Sydney Ice Dogs, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Barg scored the first of his two goals at 9:17 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Sydney Ice Dogs. Dave Dunwoodie picked up the assist. Barg's next tally made the score 3-0 Sydney Ice Dogs with 40 seconds left in the third period.

Sydney Ice Dogs put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Sydney Bears to score on any of its four power plays. Sydney Ice Dogs' defense was surprisingly good.
