Manchurek's hat trick boosts xLaSalle over xLondon, 6-4

Mark Manchurek lifted the xLaSalle Vipers to a 6-4 victory with a hat trick against the xLondon Nationals.

Manchurek's first goal came 14:47 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:22 into the first and at 1:00 into the second.

xLaSalle's offense rang up 50 shots on xLondon's net.

xLaSalle additionally got points from Dylan Denomme, who also had one goal and three assists and Aaron Luchuk, who also registered one goal and two assists. xLaSalle also got a goal from Devon Paliani as well. In addition, xLaSalle received assists from Nicolas Crescenzi, who had two and Nathan Veres and Andrew Burns, who contributed one a piece.

The Nationals kept the Vipers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Paolo Battisti made 39 saves on 43 shots. xLondon struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 26 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

The Nationals were helped by Nik Passero, who grabbed one goal. Passero scored 15:41 into the first period to make the score 2-1 xLondon. Drew Worrad assisted on the tally. xLondon also got points from Kyle L Robinson, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Chris Maton, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ryan Wells also scored for xLondon. More assists for xLondon came via Matt Doty, Tristen Elie, Austin Kemp, Paul Hopkins, and Jeff Bauer, who each chipped in one.

xLaSalle incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Vipers, Liam Murray was ejected from the game. Jacob Riley rejected 44 shots on goal for xLondon. The Nationals registered one goal on five power play opportunities. xLondon ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Wells was ejected from the game.
