The xSarnia Legionnaires' Nathan Mater scored 1:04 into overtime to beat the xStrathroy Rockets, 4-3 (OT).

xSarnia was paced by Mater, who finished with one goal and one assist.

xSarnia additionally got points from Josh Kestner, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for xSarnia included Cody Trowell and Riley Babkirk, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for xSarnia were Jay Clarke, who had three and Curtis Crombeen, Ryan Vendramin, and Thomas Moxley, who each chipped in one.

xStrathroy's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three xSarnia power plays. The Rockets forced the Legionnaires goalie Hunter Johnson to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.
