The Ancaster Avalanche failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Caledonia Corvairs shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1.

Caledonia was paced by Jordan Peacock, who tallied one goal. Peacock scored on the power play 7:00 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Caledonia. A tripping penalty on Brett Farrelly had put the Corvairs on the power play.

Caledonia kept Ancaster's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matt Calas made 28 saves on 31 shots. The Corvairs were held back by their power play unit, which tallied one goal on nine chances.
