Caledonia survives penalties, beats Ancaster, 3-1Morgan Firestone Sat, Feb 15, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Ancaster Avalanche failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Caledonia Corvairs shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1. Caledonia was paced by Jordan Peacock, who tallied one goal. Peacock scored on the power play 7:00 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Caledonia. A tripping penalty on Brett Farrelly had put the Corvairs on the power play. Caledonia kept Ancaster's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matt Calas made 28 saves on 31 shots.
