xLeamington downs xLaSalle in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The xLeamington Flyers pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the xLaSalle Vipers on a clutch goal by Dylan Denomme.

xLeamington came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Flyers fell behind 4-3 after a short handed goal by xLaSalle's Denomme at 8:58 in the third period. xLeamington knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Tony Spidalieri at 2:20 in the fourth period.

The Flyers were led by Spidalieri, who tallied one goal and one assist.

xLeamington's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four xLaSalle power plays.

xLeamington also got points from David Dalby, who also had one goal and one assist. xLeamington also had goals scored by Alex Seguin and Dylan Seguin, who scored one goal each. More assists for xLeamington came via Ryan Muzzin, who had two and Alex Friesen and Chris Scott, who contributed one a piece.

The Vipers stifled the Flyers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. xLaSalle forced xLeamington goalie Austyn Roudebush to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

xLaSalle additionally got points from Mark Manchurek, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nathan Savage also scored for xLaSalle. In addition, xLaSalle received assists from Austin Hall, Nathan Veres, Bryce Mayea, Aaron Luchuk, and Devon Paliani, who each chipped in one.

Roudebush recorded 28 saves for the Flyers. xLeamington incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Vipers' Paolo Battisti stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced. xLaSalle incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
