The xLeamington Flyers lost to the xSarnia Legionnaires, 5-2.

xSarnia was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play.

The Legionnaires were led by Nathan Mater, who had one goal and one assist. Mater scored on the power play 7:07 into the first period to make the score 3-0 xSarnia. xSarnia had gotten the advantage when xLeamington's Mitchell Amante was sent off for high sticking. Curtis Crombeen provided the assist. xSarnia additionally got points from Davis Boyer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Josh Kestner, who also registered one goal and one assist. xSarnia also had goals scored by Cody Trowell and Riley Babkirk, who each put in one. More assists for xSarnia came via Thomas Moxley, who had one and Ryan Vendramin, who had three.

The Flyers were held below their usual level of production. xLeamington puts an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game. The Legionnaires were unable to stop the Flyers from sending pucks towards the net, and xLeamington eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. The Flyers were helped by Dylan Seguin, who finished with one goal. Seguin scored 8:36 into the second period to make the score 3-2 xSarnia. Chris Scott picked up the assist.
