The xLeamington Flyers lost to the xSarnia Legionnaires, 5-2. xSarnia was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play. The Legionnaires were led by Nathan Mater, who had one goal and one assist. Mater scored on the power play 7:07 into the first period to make the score 3-0 xSarnia. xSarnia had gotten the advantage when xLeamington's Mitchell Amante was sent off for high sticking. Curtis Crombeen provided the assist. xSarnia additionally got points from Davis Boyer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Josh Kestner, who also registered one goal and one assist. xSarnia also had goals scored by Cody Trowell and Riley Babkirk, who each put in one. More assists for xSarnia came via Thomas Moxley, who had one and Ryan Vendramin, who had three. The Flyers were held below their usual level of production. xLeamington puts an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game. Seguin scored 8:36 into the second period to make the score 3-2 xSarnia. Chris Scott picked up the assist. David Dalby also scored for xLeamington. In addition, xLeamington received assists from Ryan Muzzin and Nathan Opblinger, who contributed one a piece. Hunter Johnson recorded 30 saves for xSarnia. The Legionnaires incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Austyn Roudebush made 20 saves for xLeamington on 25 shots. The Flyers totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. xLeamington ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Amante was ejected from the game.
