Marc Williams had a standout game with 27 saves, and the Kitchener Dutchmen beat the Brampton Bombers 2-1. Kitchener was led by Connor Cole(APM), who grabbed one goal. Cole(APM) scored 14:32 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kitchener. Adam Kawelic(APM) picked up the assist. The Dutchmen kept Brampton's goalie busy throughout the game, and Scott Patton made 32 saves on 34 shots. Mitchell Smith also scored for Kitchener. More assists for Kitchener came via Jordan Delaurier and Keli Grant, who each chipped in one. The Bombers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Kitchener power plays. Brampton was led by Greg Wilson, who scored the team's only goal. Wilson scored 13:24 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Brandon Clelland assisted on the tally. The Bombers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities.
