The xLondon Nationals had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over the St. Marys Lincolns.

xLondon was led by goalie Justin Tugwell, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Tugwell will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 4.65.

The Nationals were led by Kyle L Robinson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Robinson scored 15:25 into the first period to make the score 2-0 xLondon. Drew Worrad assisted on the tally.

xLondon stifled St. Marys' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Nationals' offense rang up 44 shots on the Lincolns' net. xLondon's goal total was higher than its season average. This season, the Nationals average 3.9 goals per contest. xLondon got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

xLondon also got points from Matt Fuller, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jonathan Sims, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Ryan Tuffin, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Nik Passero, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. xLondon also got a goal from Mark Gazdic as well. More assists for xLondon came via Keaton Ratcliffe, who had two and Matt Doty, Austin Kemp, and Mike Whaley, who each chipped in one.

The Nationals incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Andrew Masters recorded 38 saves for St. Marys. The Lincolns incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
